Ghislaine speaks out on the Epstein files
PLUS: The incidents that may just help her appeal, latest 2024 polls and Trump appeals.
Ghislaine & the Epstein files
The world waits with bated breath, for a topic nobody truly wishes to hear about, but a topic all must know. That topic is Jeffrey Epstein, the illusive & mysterious abuser of young women. We wait, any day, any hour, for the names of nearly 200 John & Jane Doe’s to be made public that have been associated alongside him from accusers to abusers to enablers.
With Epstein’s alleged suicide the truth & justice died with him; enter Ghislaine. Since 2021 only Ghislaine has been publicly accused and found guilty of enabling the pedophile financier, a crime she denies and is appealing, but all that could change with the release of the Epstein files.
Reports are circling that Bill Clinton, who Epstein visited in the White House at least 17 times, is John Doe 36 and mentioned over 50 times in the soon to be unveiled documents. Alongside Clinton features his White House aide and former senior advisor Doug Band - known in the files as John Doe 8. Whilst we await the unredacted files to be released these leaks alone show the stretch of Epstein’s political web.
However as the anticipation of these files take over, you may not have seen the incidents which undoubtedly could help Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal.
A couple of month ago the passing of one key witness in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, brought fresh challenges for the prosecution, and gave Maxwell’s appeal case a potential boost. Carolyn Andriano passed away at the age of 36, following a fentanyl & prescription drug overdoes. Andriano, who claimed to be drug free during her testimony, could potentially have her testimony overturned as Maxwell argues the sobriety and truth of her testimony. As Andriano detailed her troubled upbringing she told the court she was “allowed to do whatever I wanted” citing the reason as “my mom was an alcoholic and a drug addict.” A claim which her mother denied stating “No, I was working. I was working to pay for my children. I didn’t get any supplements. I had to work,” she said. “That’s inaccurate.” Unfortunately this slight infighting will do nothing but provide ammunition in Maxwell’s appeal.
Further infighting has begun among Epstein victims with Maria Farmer writing tweets stating:
These tweets attacking fellow Epstein victim Sarah Ransome, as well as criticising the memories of those suffering trauma, like herself, plays into the hands of Maxwell’s attorneys who during her trial hired a memory expert, Dr Elizabeth Loftus, who helped Harvey Weinstein and OJ Simpson.
On these highly anticipated files Maxwell’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, stated on behalf of Ghislaine: “I don't think she has anything to talk about except maybe that if you look at this crime, this overall crime, it's all about men abusing women for a long period of time, and it's only one person in jail — a woman.”
Trump appeals Maine & Colorado ballot ban
Former President Donald Trump today has appealed the decision by the Secretary of State in Maine & the Supreme Court of Colorado to strike him from the 2024 ballot. The decision by these individuals came following legal action seeking to ban him over challenges that accused him of inciting the January 6th riot. The legal justification they have used is The 14th Amendment of the US Constitution that bans anyone who has "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" from holding federal office.
Trump has requested that the United States Supreme Court reverse the ruling set forth by the Colorado Supreme Court. The decision has been accused of putting SCOTUS in a precarious position - "The Supreme Court is being asked to define the boundaries of democracy," Samuel Issacharoff, a constitutional law professor at New York University, said.
